  • “The Element. How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything” by Ken Robinson.
The focus of this book is on finding out what really lights you up and then pursuing it. The author describes The Element as being the meeting point between natural aptitude and personal passion.

The idea that we need to find our tribe to help facilitate change was particularly fascinating to me. .Simply put, the author argues that associating with people who share our passion is more likely to propel us forward. Similarily helpful, was the idea that as people’s interests, aptitudes and types of intelligence are wide ranging and varied, educators and society as a whole need to recognise and value that difference. Also, the examples of how individuals in the public eye e.g. Arianna Huffington and Paul McCartney managed to recognise their unique talents and made successes of their lives were of interest. Worth reading if you are looking for encouragement to pursue a dream or make a change in your professional life.

  • Having recently redesigned several of our programmes, we thought it would be a great idea to offer places to existing and potential clients on the pilots of our revamped workshops under what have called the dress rehearsal programme.

At a substantially discounted rate, participants will benefit from a high quality training experience, develop skills and knowledge and network with other participants. Also, if a prospective client wants to experience our training and see our facilitators at work, this is a good way to do it. For our part, we get to train engaged participants who will give us useful feedback on our programmes before we launch them as open programmes or use the design as a basis for in-company workshops.
